DESIGNER/VIDEOGRAPHER

Duties and responsibilities

• Design static graphic/visuals to support ad campaigns and other school-related communication/ marketing activities.
• Edit images for usage in publications, merchandise, platforms, and communication channels used by the schools.
• Create branding products for the school including but not limited to various platforms and formats: online/ print.
• Ability to operate cameras and other recording equipment to capture both short and long films/pictures for a variety of platforms.
• Understand and apply technical aspects of lenses, film, filters, lighting, and camera settings for each shoot to ensure the final result meets expectations.
• Adjust equipment, camera controls, and any related devices to find suitable lighting, exposure, and focus settings.
• Work with other team members to achieve the desired results.
• Operate audio equipment such as microphones, sound mixers, and digital recorders to capture audio during filming.
• Maintain, clean, and check all equipment and cameras to ensure all tools are in good working condition each day before filming starts.
• Collaborate with content executives, assisting the team in planning, creating, and executing.
• Direct talents appearing in images/ videos during filming/ photography to ensure they accurately portray their characters.
• Film or record events or situations from multiple angles using different camera positions and viewpoints.
• Edit videos according to prepared scripts, ensuring the highest quality, meeting deadlines, and suitability for various platforms, including but not limited to digital channels (YouTube/ Facebook/ Reels/ TikTok…) and offline channels (TV, LED screens…).
• Ensure correct formatting and brand guidelines for the finished videos.
• Stay updated with trends and apply them to your work.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communication, Cinematography, Design, Production, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working on film sets and video, designing images and graphic products within a production team.
• Proficient in professional video editing, design, image editing, and audio editing software and programs.
• Ability to multitask and work simultaneously on multiple projects.
• Creative ability in photography, design, filmmaking, and videography.
• Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project.
• Experience editing various video projects and adding sound effects, music, and transitions.
• Excellent communication skills to have a solid understanding of project scope and execution.
• Ability to collaborate well with other team members to deliver high-quality final products.
• Organizational skills to track work and ensure all projects run smoothly and on time.
• Proven experience working in social media marketing with passion.
• Always aware of and updated on new trends in design/ communication/ production and video post-production.
