On the 8th and 9th of November, the International Schools of North America (SNA) held private discussions with parents to look back on the first stage of students in the 2019-2020 academic year together, as well as to consult the proper at-home educational methods and strengthen the relationship between the school and parents, aiming to creating favorable conditions for students to be well-rounded.
As a companion to the children throughout the learning process, the teachers shared in detail with the parents about their learning situation. By that way, they analyzed students’ advantages and suggested appropriate home-based educational methods to help them improve their disadvantages. In addition, for boarding students, teachers also discussed about their daily routines, helping parents understand their child’s personality development and activities at school.
At SNA, parent meetings are not just for reporting, but rather a gentle and effective conversation to create a strong bond between parents and the school. By that way, teachers can learn more about the student’s family situation, parents also have the opportunity to understand and coordinate effectively with the teachers to implement the school’s advanced teaching methods at home.
