SNA NextGen Scholarship – A 50% Tuition Opportunity for IB MYP Students at SNA

With a mission to identify and support outstanding students, the International Schools of North America (SNA) – Saigon South Campus proudly launches the SNA NextGen Scholarship for the 2025–2026 academic year. This prestigious scholarship offers 50% tuition support for three consecutive years, available to students applying for Grades 6 to 10 under the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).

As part of SNA’s broader strategy to nurture young talent, the NextGen Scholarship helps students gain access to a world-class international curriculum, while developing strong academic thinking and essential global skills — key attributes for those aiming for top-tier universities in the future.

The SNA NextGen Scholarship seeks students who demonstrate three core qualities: academic strength, personal maturity, and strong English communication skills, all aligned with the mission of a full IB continuum school.

A Two-Round Evaluation Process

To qualify, applicants must complete two main rounds of assessment:

  • Round 1 – MAP Test & English Essay

Students will take the NWEA MAP Growth Test in both Reading and Math, which evaluates academic performance according to international standards. They will also write an English essay of 500–1000 words onsite at the SNA Admissions Office. Essay prompts are grade-specific and designed to assess students’ reasoning, language use, and critical thinking.

  • Round 2 – Interview with the Head of School

Shortlisted applicants will attend a one-on-one interview in English with SNA’s Head of School. The conversation will explore their learning goals, personal motivations, and readiness for international education — helping assess their overall fit with SNA’s values and learning environment.

Application & Assessment Timeline

  • June 10–20, 2025: Submit application form and school transcripts (last 3 academic years)
  • June 10–25, 2025: Complete MAP test, essay writing, and interview

  • The scholarship offers 50% tuition coverage for 3 consecutive years (non-tuition fees such as registration, meals, transportation, and uniforms are not included).
  • Students are only eligible to receive one scholarship or tuition discount, whichever is of the highest value.
  • Successful candidates must complete enrollment and payment within 5 business days of the award announcement to confirm their scholarship placement.
  • By participating in the scholarship program, parents agree to allow the school to use their child’s images and scholarship-related information for non-commercial communications and promotional purposes.
