PI DAY AT SNA – A DIFFERENT WAY TO EXPERIENCE MATHEMATICS
Recently, MYP and DP students at SNA celebrated Pi Day, exploring the beauty of the mathematical constant pi through a variety of engaging activities.
Throughout the day, teachers organized activities that helped students see how pi appears beyond circle-related problems, extending into patterns and real-world applications. A highlight of this year’s celebration was an impressive achievement by an MYP student who successfully memorized the first 300 digits of pi.
Wrapping up the day with Pi-themed cakes and badges, mathematics was experienced as a journey of curiosity and joyful discovery.
