SNA OPEN DAY – EXPERIENCE THE TET SPIRIT

In the lively atmosphere leading up to Tet, the International Schools of North America (SNA) Saigon South Campus joyfully recreates the Tet ambiance through the “SNA Open Day – Experience the Tet Spirit” event, taking place over the weekend of January 26th-27th, 2024, with various activities steeped in Vietnamese cultural traditions.  

These activities allow new parents and students to explore the cultural aspects of the traditional festival. Additionally, it is a chance for parents and students to discover facilities and the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) programme offered at SNA. 

Program Highlights: 

January 26th, 2024: Coffee Talk with the Head of School on the topic: ” Integrate more easily in the international classroom”. 

  • A friendly conversation with the Head of School about strategies to help children integrate quickly into an international school environment, which consists not only of Korean students but also students from various cultural backgrounds. 
  • Discussion on the advantages of sending your children to an international school. 
  • Testimonials from Korean parents with children studying at an international school. 
  • Experience participating in demo class in English within an international school setting. 
  • Consulting 1:1 and school tour with the Admissions Office. 

January 27th, 2024: Experience the Tet Spirit. 

  • Coffee Talk with the Head of School on the topic: ” Integrate more easily in the international classroom”. 
  • Tet wooden ornament making corner: Students will be guided by IB Art teachers at SNA to creatively make traditional wooden Tet decorations. 
  • Making Chung cake Workshop: As a traditional Tet dish, students will have the opportunity to personally make Chung cake, deepening their understanding of traditional culture and the culinary beauty of Tet. 
  • Experience a demo English class with your children at an international school. 
  • Chinese and Korean parents can join the virtual meeting.  
  • School Tour with designed facilities that inspire learning at SNA campus.    
  • Getting support from the Admissions Office to address inquiries and discuss educational needs, along with attractive scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year.
