A PEEK INTO SNA’S POTTERY CLASS

Remember previous weeks, PYP students had a chance to get familiar with clay texture and basic modeling methods at Spin & Gogh studio, this time it was their seniors’ turn to try pottery at SNA’s art studio for DP students.
Pottery is an activity of creating objects in a three-dimensional space, from an idea formed inside one’s mind to a piece of concrete through their hands. It helps students to develop their creativity, transform their thoughts into actions, and that’s how the results are produced.
The carefully crafted and meticulous ceramic products molded from the students own hands also help them to build patience, the love for beauty and create a deep sense of art perception.
