SNA ODD SOCKS DAY – A FUN & INFORMATIVE EVENT ABOUT ANTI BULLYING

To finish the Anti-bullying Week initiative, SNA teachers, staff and students were encouraged to wear an ‘odd sock’ on Thursday, November 26th 2020. This activity is an opportunity to encourage everyone to express themselves and celebrate their own individuality and uniqueness.

? It’s a day of fun and self-expression and brings the message that each one of us should be proud of who we are and be able to accept individual differences. Regardless of our culture, race, colour, orientation, disability, age, and ethnicity, we should always choose to respect one another and become united so that together we can create a fun, safe, and caring environment.

? We would like to give huge thanks to Erica Arce – our Wellbeing Counsellor; Ms Olive from SEN depertment; Jane Slade – our DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead), and many others, for putting together a very insightful and informative week of activities that applied to not just students, but to staff as well!
